The Hambrug Bridge poem was installed in 2025 as a partnership between the Gemeente and TU Delft. This was the first poem I wrote about Delft. It was translated into Dutch by the first colleague I met working at the TU Delft Library. Inspired by the Parkhaven poetry bridge in Rotterdam, I reached out to its graphic designer; together we brought this public art project to life so that the Hambrug may serve as a literal and symbolic bridge between the municipality and the university.

‘one puddle’ is an allusion to Bob Marley’s ‘One Love’ and it is site-specific, celebrating the large puddle that forms on the nearby bike path—a puddle so big it forces you to slow down and acknowledge each other, while you joyfully ride through it together.
